I am originally from Oakland, CA and moved here to Atlanta, GA in 1994 to attend the Illustrious Clark Atlanta University (1998). Upon graduation from college I spent several years working as both Financial and Logistics Analyst. I made a decision to do something more fulfilling and rewarding and entered the exciting and rewarding world of Special Education. My exciting career in Special Education began in 2004 and I have not looked back. I have worked for several school districts in the Atlanta Metro Area for over 15 years which include: Clayton County Schools, Fulton County Schools, City Schools of Decatur, and Atlanta Public Schools. I have served students in the areas of Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairment and Autism. I have taught all content areas with emphasizes in the area of Mathematics in both Middle School and High School level. I have a proven track record of fighting for the rights of students with disabilities and their parents to ensure equity in services. My continued goal is to help support and advocate for students with disabilities and create a platform of change and respect for all students.
